10. GEELY HQ SRV
Geely Haoqing, a subcompact car with 5 door hatchback which was manufactured by Chinese manufacturer Geely. Geely started small but it expanded rapidly and also became one of the biggest manufacturers of cars in the world. It was introduced in 1998. The car triggered a huge expansion at that time and it was given an update in 2003 but the production ended in 2006. It Included a 16 valve straight inline engine with 4 cylinders. It was said to be a Daihatsu Charade copy wearing a very Mercedes-like radiator grille, in 1998.
9. Chery A1
A supermini car produced by the Chinese manufacturer Cherry from 2003 to 2015, Initially it was being sold at a very low price hence making it one of the cheapest cars in Australia. Along with such a great price the car was equipped with a lot of features like 14-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, a 6 speaker CD player, air conditioning, electronic window, side mirror, and rear windscreen wiper along with a strengthened body and grill. Safety features like ABS and EBD were there but there were no side bags and no electronic control stability which was the reason why it was not sold at some places like the State of Victoria where such requirements are essential. Later it was banned in Australia too when it became a necessity there.

Fiat Palio, a supermini car, was manufactured by the Italian manufacturer Fiat from 1996 until 2017. This car gained huge appreciation worldwide as it was designed by keeping developing countries in mind. The top features of this car included alloy wheels, a luxurious interior, and a metallic paint finish. Depending on the fuel type and the variant the Car has a mileage of 15.5 Kmpl. It also comes with a manual transmission. The people didn’t find the Fiat Palio very appealing when it came to physical appearance.

Hyundai I10 was one of the most successful vehicles in the compact hatchback. This car was manufactured and marketed by the producer Hyundai motor company since 2001. Since in India compact cars have always gained the attention of people this car was also no exception and registered excellent sales. According to a report this car had delivered around 33000 units in just 90 days.it was smartly designed and the interior was also sophisticatedly designed. It came with a great engine efficiency which comes in both petrol and diesel variants, one of the main reasons for its popularity. The model includes features like power Windows, FrontAnti Lock Braking System, Air Conditioner, Power Steering, Bluetooth connectivity, and audio control. Hyundai I10 lacked somewhere due to the engines which only do their job and are not performance oriented. Hence doesn’t excite the enthusiasts much. This hatchback is believed to be Hyundai’s cheapest offering in the diesel car segment.
5. Datsun Redi-GO
Datsun Redi-Go, a city car produced by Datsun owned by Nissan. The first model was presented on 14 April 2016. It has a distinct personality with a very bold and stylish design. Safety features ABS+EBD, dual airbags also included providing premium class comfort. The mileage of Datsun Redi-Go ranges from 21.7 Kmpl to 22 Kmpl. It is a decent car if you are looking for a car at a cheap price.

Tata NANO is one of the most popular compact cars made and marketed by Indian automaker Tata Makers. Nano received a lot of media attention due to its low price.
